Kenny Omega Not Having a Singles Match at Wembley Stadium Is Not That Deep

The wrestling community is currently up in arms about the fact that Kenny Omega will not be featured in a singles match at the upcoming All In at Wembley Stadium. While there is merit to the argument that Omega, one of the best wrestlers to ever live, should be featured on the biggest show in the history of AEW, I think people are overreacting.

Hangman, the best bout machine & the golden star?? Sign me up!

First of all, the match that Omega is rumored to be involved in, a six-man tag team match with Hangman Page and Kota Ibushi against Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Konosuke Takeshita, sounds amazing. It's a dream match for many fans, and it's sure to be a barnburner.

Secondly, Omega has been a massive part of AEW's success since the company's inception. He's helped put AEW on the map, and he's one of the most popular wrestlers in the world. He doesn't need to be in a singles match at Wembley Stadium to prove his worth.

Thirdly, these are other wrestlers who deserve to be featured on the card. Hangman Page is the main protagonist in AEW, and he's never had a singles match at a major pay-per-view. Kota Ibushi is a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, and he's wrestled in AEW  just once before. Jay White is one of the best wrestlers in the world. Juice Robinson is a former IWGP United States Champion, and he's always put on great matches. And Konosuke Takeshita is one of the brightest young stars in wrestling, and he's already had some great matches in AEW.

So, while I understand why some fans are disappointed that Omega won't be in a singles match at Wembley Stadium, I think they need to calm down. The match that he's rumored to be involved in sounds amazing, and there are other wrestlers who deserve to be featured on the card too.

In the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal. There are way worse things that could be happening in the world. The climate is changing, inflation is out of control, and racism is running rampant. Let's not get upset about something as trivial as Kenny Omega not having a singles match at a wrestling show.

Kenny Omega is my favorite wrestler ever, and I would love to see him in a singles bout, but I refuse to look for problems where there are none. I'm excited for All In at Wembley Stadium, and I can't wait to see Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, Kota Ibushi, Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Konosuke Takeshita tear the house down.
